Meet this Week’s Teacher Feature: Will Tran!

FOCUS is honored to have so many outstanding instructors teaching in our faculty, and we always enjoy the opportunity to post teacher features–to introduce you to each of our faculty members and celebrate all their credentials and abilities.

Will Tran is one of our long-term faculty members, and we are happy to celebrate him and his talents this week.

Will started dancing and doing gymnastics competitively in high school, both with his school and with his dance studio. He has been doing dance and gymnastics for more than 15 years and teaching both for more than 12 years.

After high school, Will attended Chapman University as a dance major with a minor in advertising. While at Chapman, he started the nationally ranked dance team that has won USA Nationals every year since 2009.

During college, Will also worked for Disneyland as a performer in many parades and shows, entertaining guests and celebrities over the next eight and a half years. After college, Will joined Pace Elite All Stars Dance Team, which was chosen to be Team USA for Pom and Jazz and won the gold medal at the International Cheer Union and Dance Worlds in 2012.

Will is now working toward his teaching credential at Cal State Long Beach and is teaching and choreographing all over So Cal for a wide range of students and famous YouTubers.
